The Hall is currently used for after school care each day during the week and is well booked for a number of regular weekly activities such as yoga, short mat bowling and badminton.
Dog shows, family parties and other social events also feature a throughout each month.
We have continued our drive in towards a low carbon footprint with a substantial installation in 2023 of solar panels with battery storage. This project was enabled with grant funding of over £49,000. Insurance requirements of 60-minute fire protection for the storage batteries and equipment added to the cost with substantial alterations needed with fireproof the walls and doors to the existing electrical cabinet and surrounds. Management committee took the opportunity to also repaint the Hall doors.
The management committee continually look for ways to improve the Hall and are currently engaged with a local theatre group to explore the replacement of the stage curtains and tracking. The group has used the hall for performances.
