Mr Adrian Floyd explained the focus of Stonnall Campaign about Roads (SCAR) which seeks to raise awareness about road safety, support the improvement of road signage/safety, promote community speed watch and increase membership. A major milestone was achieved earlier in the year when the speed limit on the very busy Chester Rd at the dangerous junction with Lazy Hill & Birch Lane/Gravelly Lane was reduced from 50mph to 40 mph with improvements to be made to the central hatching, additional gateways and signage.
