Cllr Phil Whitehouse explained that the Playing Field Committee has been through troubled waters with most of the committee standing down amidst an atmosphere of fear and confusion over responsibilities relating to the ongoing issue of flooding on the Playing Fields affecting residents of St Peters Close. Cllr Whitehouse & Cllr David Salter have been co-opted in to manage this important community asset, but more members are sought to take things forward with an AGM on 9th July.
