Phil Whitehouse – Stonnall. I have lived in Stonnall for almost 30 years and been actively involved in various community initiatives including being Chairman of Stonnall Campaign About Roads (SCAR) since 2005. My career involved working in the Banking Industry for 25 years and latterly in the financial services industry as a Management Consultant. As a new Parish Councillor, I hope to put this lengthy experience and knowledge to good use and contribute across all areas of the Parish Councils responsibilities.
Road safety and people welfare in general are two key areas that I am interested in and to try to make a real difference to the quality of life in the area. I am also particularly interested in working with the various village groups and to encourage as many residents as possible to be involved in activities that should continue to make the area a great place to live.

Chris jones. I have lived in Stonnall for nearly 20 years and over the last few years have been actively involved in community initiatives such as Stonnallbury and the emerging revised Neighbourhood Plan for the village. I am also a member of SCAR
My career involved working in local government for ca 38 years as a town planner and urban designer for Walsall and Sandwell councils. As a new ward Councillor as of March 2025 I hope to put my experience and knowledge to good use – particularly in ensuring that important concerns expressed by residents in the neighbourhood plans, are addressed wherever possible. In particular I am keen to ensure that the parish is fully engaged with the challenge of new residential development and that the views of local people are taken into account in the planning and development process.
I have always enjoyed being part of the local community and want to take the opportunity of ward councillor to ensure that quality of life remains high and that the village continues to be a special place to live.
