Election of Chair of Finance Committee: Cllr Beilby was unanimously re-elected.

To accept and confirm minutes of the last Finance, Legal, Health & Safety Committee Meeting March 23rd March 2021.

Current financial position & transactions for approval as at 25th May 2021

Nat West Current Account £905.00, Nat West Business Reserve £53,313.30, Nat West Liquidity Account Ring Fenced funds for earmarked projects £162,300.63.

Unity Account £185,605.09.

Review and adopt Financial Terms of Reference & Regulations.

Approved & adopted.

Notification of Lichfield District Council Maintenance Contract RPI increase of 1.4%

The Committee were comfortable with the increase & commended LDC on their work to date.

Consider internal auditor Topliss Associates for 2021/22 & make recommendation to Council

RECOMMENDATION: Topliss Associates to remain as internal auditor.

Consider external auditor Mazars for 2021/22 & make recommendation to Council

RECOMMENDATION: Mazars to remain as external auditor.

Consider investigating purchasing Footherly Rough to create a nature reserve.

Cllr Jones would like Council to consider the possibility of purchasing a small area of ancient woodland which may be for sale & develop it into a nature reserve.

RECOMMENDATION: Unanimously supported to take to Full Council with more information & photographs.

A.O.B. Cllr Beilby would like Council to consider resurfacing the right of way from Stonnall Playing Fields to Church Lane.

RECOMMENDATION: Unanimously supported to take to Full Council.

Cllr Beilby shared an email from Cllr Salter requesting that Council move to a recorded calls system whereby callers to the Parish Office are notified that for security purposes calls will be recorded. The Clerk has contacted BT for further info.
